M. Mukundan

M. Mukundan is one of the pioneers of modern Malayalam literature. Born in Mahe, his works often depict the life and culture of his birthplace. He served as a diplomat in the French Embassy in Delhi for several years. His major works include 'Mayyazhippuzhayude Theerangalil', 'Daivathinte Vikrithikal', and 'Pravasam'. He has received the Ezhuthachan Puraskaram and the French government's Chevalier des Arts et des Lettres.
